JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Good Boy' (played by Lee Dae-il, directed by Shim Na-yeon) is a comic action youth investigation drama in which former national team players, who became police with a specialty, wear 'police ID' around their necks instead of 'medal' and fight against a world of unconscionability and foul play. The main poster released today (20th) consists of two versions: 'Hero' and 'WINNER'. This conveys a pleasant message that the real games and victories of those who became national heroes with shining medals around their necks in their respective events are from now on.
First, the main poster 'hero' version contrasts the glorious past of medalists standing tall at the podium with the salty reality of becoming a cop. Boxing gold medalist Yoon Dong-ju (Park Bo-gum), shooting gold medalist Ji Han-na (Kim So-hyun), fencing silver medalist Kim Jong-hyun (Lee Sang-i), wrestling bronze medalist Ko Man-sik (Heo Seong-tae), and discus throwing bronze medalist Shin Jae-hong (Taewon-seok) became the "hero" who received public cheers as a result of running to the point where his knees were cut and his hands and feet blistered. However, the hot torch cools down, and those who have had to end their careers for different reasons face a cold reality. After becoming a police officer with a special house, the appearance of those who limp in blood and sweat and slumped on the floor under the podium covered with bruises conveys the weight of the hard reality. This contrasts with 'The Day Everyone Was Hot'.
However, remembering the hot day, the heroes wake up again. This is because the heroes' hearts, who were not ashamed of anyone, have the unique rules and rules of the player who endured with his coming and venom in their respective grounds. Furthermore, I am not envious of the superpowers that exist only in my imagination as each athlete's specialties are united, such as boxing with strong punches, headshot shooting with a single shot, fencing that penetrates the heart, wrestling that suffocates the breath, and track and field with the destructive power of bare hands. The main poster 'WINNER' version shows the performance of the Good Avengers, who will once again win by proudly confronting criminals of injustice and unconscionability with rules and rules with a still fluctuating heart. It is already overwhelming to see the imposing aura of those who stand tall on the real podium, which has piled up criminals marked with unconscionability. On a completely different battlefield from the day he won the medal, the real game of those who have to become 'Good Boy' once again begins now.
The production team said "The two versions of the main poster released this time visually compressed the narrative to be drawn by 'Good Boy." The glory of the time when he won a medal and the hard fight of this moment are all part of 'Good Boy'. From the 31st, you will be able to see a exhilarating story full of energy that encompasses laughter, action, youth and justice. Please join us with the first broadcast, which is only 10 days away."
Meanwhile, JTBC 'Good Boy' is a piece that is expected to create another well-made production by combining director Shim Na-yeon, who directed 'The Host' who won the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards for TV Drama, and writer Lee Dae-il of the 'Life on Mars' and 'Aide' series. It will premiere on JTBC at 10:40 p.m. on Saturday the 31st and will be released to viewers around the world through the global streaming service Amazon Prime Video.
