'The Haunted Palace' Unravels Royal Curse Kim Ji-hoon’s King Faces Haunting Fate

Actor Kim Ji-hoon added the weight of the play with his performance that transcends coolness and passion in SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Going Palace'.

In the 5th and 6th episodes of 'Going Palace', which aired on the 2nd and 3rd, King Lee Jung (Kim Ji-hoon) recognized the curse of the octogenarian that shook the palace and began full-fledged cooperation with the shaman Yeo-ri (Kim Ji-yeon) and Yoon Gap (Yook Sung-jae). Kim Ji-hoon increased his sense of immersion by expressing Lee Jung's complex psychology of repeating conflict and determination in the face of successive shocks in three dimensions.

Lee Jung-eun tries to keep her faith as a king to stay away from Misa in a situation where even the atom is in danger following the brutal death of her younger brother, Prince Yeongin, but soon realizes her limitations. In the end, as a father and monarch, I will make a decision to protect my child and go against faith" leaves a monologue, and Kim Ji-hoon completed a dramatic emotional line with his shaky eyes and determined voice.

Lee Jung-eun's maternal grandmother and shaman, Neop-deok (played by Gil Hae-yeon), also finds out that she was a person who gave her a Gyeonggwi stone in the past, and approaches a fateful connection. At the same time, cooperation with these weapons is expected to become more full-fledged as they grasp the secret that the iron of this weapon is in Yoon Gap's body.

The human image shown in front of Yoon Gap and Yeori also attracted attention. Yoon Gap's words that he blew Kwak Sang-chung with a whirlwind forget about his stomachache and burst into laughter, and when he faces a cursed heavy war, his eyes turn into cold air and change the atmosphere of the battlefield at once. In this episode, Kim Ji-hoon firmly held the center of 'Going Palace', expressing the king's authority, his father's warmth, and his concerns as a human being.
