Released on the 30th of last month, the film 'Fagua' (director Mingyu-dong) is based on the novel of the same name, and is an action drama about an intense confrontation between a legendary killer sculpture that has been active in an organization that handles humans like cockroaches for more than 40 years and a mysterious killer bullfight that chased him for life.
The actors increased the immersion of the play with a synchronicity that seemed to have been ripped from the original novel. Lee Hye-young created an intense character by playing the legendary killer sculpture, and Kim Sung-chul showed off his excellent acting sense by transforming into a mysterious killer bullfight that has been chasing a person for more than 20 years. Yeon Woo-jin is Kang, a veterinarian who saves sculptures and gets caught up in a huge whirlwind of killers, adding to the tension of the decomposition play.
In particular, 'Pagu' was invited to leading overseas film festivals even before its release and received enthusiastic responses from global critics and audiences.
