Director Kang Hyung-chul met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 29th and said, `I have benefited a lot from the actors in this work.'
Released on the 30th, 'High Five' is a movie about what happens when five people who accidentally acquire superpowers meet with those who want their superpowers, and director Kang Hyung-chul took the megaphone.
After a total of three auditions, Lee Jae-in was selected as the lead role of 'High Five'. Previously, he showed excellent acting skills since he was a child by appearing in movies 'Sabaha' and dramas 'Racket Boys'. Director Kang said "I'm good at picking new actors, and a good new actor comes to me. I think I'm very lucky as a director. "I think there's more opportunities for rookies to audition only when there are more good works."
In an interview conducted earlier, Ra Mi-ran also expressed his gratitude, saying, `Coach Kang Hyung-chul praised too much like a compliment bot on the spot.' After hearing this, director Kang said, `It's the first time that I haven't given directions to actors as much as this one. I always watch a lot, but this time, I benefited more from the actors. I didn't mainly direct acting, I threw a lot of jokes (laughs). I asked Ra Mi-ran if she would keep making me supervisor unemployed and asked me to work. Kim Hee-won is an actor who has a lot of fun talking, so 'Stay still ' Now that I think about it, the atmosphere on the spot was very friendly," he recalled.
In particular, Ahn Jae-hong also revealed that he has been a fan of Kang since college. Coach Kang responded, `It's ridiculous that I raised Ahn Jae-hong. If I had said that, I would have brought it up to show off Ahn Jae-hong to others. "I love that an actor like Ahn Jae-hong is my neighborhood friend. It was always amazing then and now. The actor is always the same," he said, giving high praise.
