Moon Geun-young Wins Best New Actress at Directors Cut Awards for 'Hellbound 2'

Moon Geun-young won the new actress award in the series category through the Netflix series 『Hell Season 2』 at the 『The 23rd Directors Cut Awards" held on the 20th.
Marking its 23rd anniversary this year, the 「Director's Cut Awards」 is a film award hosted by the DGK (Korean Film Directors Association), and unlike previous film awards, it is an award ceremony that is even more meaningful by being selected and awarded by Korean film directors.
The new actor award category, which Moon Geun-young was honored with, is given to an actor who has shown a face he has not seen before. Moon Geun-young succeeded in a perfect acting transformation last year by playing the role of Sunshine Ban (Oh Ji-won), a key figure in the fanatic group arrowhead, with an unconventional visual and a change in a maniacal character.

I always wanted to play a new character, but I was excited about the new role of Sunshine Ban teacher and enjoyed acting. I will continue to try to become an actor who shows new faces in the future."
