tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama Unknown Seoul (written by Lee Kang, directed by Park Shin-woo), which will premiere on the 24th, is a romantic growth drama in which twin sisters, who have different things except their faces, find real love and life by lying in exchange for life.
Author Lee Kang, who left a touching aftertaste with his story of young people shaking in the pain of the times, is drawing attention as the next film to be presented in four years. Writer Lee Kang wrote 'Unknown Seoul' is finally about to be broadcasted, consistently writing like a letter and a diary with the hope of returning to the viewers"He expressed his excitement.
Through this 'Unknown Seoul', writer Lee Kang, who wanted to write the stories of people who are seemingly safe but already shaken and exhausted from within himself, said . "I imagined that twins who looked exactly like me would replace me, but I suddenly wondered if the twins' lives would be calmer than mine.," he said, explaining how he came to recall the subject of the twin sister's life change.
"Everyone feels that their lives are the most difficult, but after learning that they are fighting their own battles," he said. "Self-loathing, which whips and undermines oneself with words and thoughts that others won't tell, is like my oldest enemy and homework that I haven't solved yet. Our main characters and viewers who watch the story also wrote the work with an emphasis on the hope that they can be a little more generous with them."
