I was really happy to play an infinitely friendly 'Cha Ji-won' against the backdrop of a campus full of excitement. Above all, it is even more meaningful because I learned a lot because I was able to do it with good actors and great staff in a fun and passionate field.
▶The character with a rich background and an unexpected taste who always likes Donggulecha was impressive. What did you pay most attention to when implementing or acting the character "Cha Ji-won"
I tried to take good care of the actual actors even in normal times because they are like pine trees that I can always lean on for 'Bani' and my younger sister 'Chah Hye-won'. And since 'Cha Ji-won' is a personality based on relaxation, I tried to express it with walking, eyes, behavior, etc.

Under any circumstances, I thought 'Bani' should be a character that I could rely on comfortably. In the drama, I'm the oldest, but I'm actually the youngest, so Noh Jung-ui and Lee Chae-min took good care of me and adored me. (Laughs) Since it is a genre that contains campus romance, there are many parts where I work with actors of my age, so I comfortably played around, discussed acting, and filmed happily. I think the friendly atmosphere was naturally captured in the camera.

I have a nickname of a 100-point boyfriend candidate who has everything except nothing, and I have a friendly and relaxed personality, but I think I could show you a variety of sides through the wrong 'Cha Ji-won', so it will remain more special to me. In particular, I learned a lot by looking at 'the size of my mind' that always cares about others and thinks of others first. I thought 'Bandam' in 'Dearm' was a young man who went straight with his coolness as a weapon. I thought about how to capture the heart of the other role with an attractive and impactful effect. I think 'Joo Chan-young' in '2nd class Lee Hee-soo' focused on the growth, friendship, and love of high school students running for their dreams, and I think I played by substituting for my high school days. It was fun to have a different experience where three of my works, including "Barney and the Brothers", were released at the same time. (laughs)
▶What kind of actor do you want to be and what kind of role do you want to try
There are so many roles that I want to try in the future, but among them, I want to try to appear in the noir genre, especially where I can show people or actions with superpowers. And I want to be actor Cho Joon-young who can imprint my name through various works.
