Choi Soo-young and Gong Myung collaborated on romance through 'Please Look After This Week'. Choi Soo-young plays Han Geum-joo, a 10-year mechanic who works for the country's best automobile company and a talented person in social life. Regarding his role, he said, `He is a friend who works harder than anyone else without hesitating to work overtime to survive in the maintenance industry where only men are crowded. As a result, alcohol increases and leads to alcoholism. He is a character who enjoys drinking and relies on him. After that, drinking alcohol goes down to Bocheon and reunites with his first love, Eui-jun, who doesn't like alcohol again. He said, "Eventually, heals and grows by challenging drinking alcohol under the warm care of his family."
When asked if there was any acting focus for the role of an alcoholic, Choi Soo-young "discussed a lot with the director."I tried to paint an alcoholic figure who might be around as much as possible, and I tried to observe it implicitly."

Veteran actors also predicted stellar performances. Kim Seong-ryeong plays the role of Kim Kwang-ok, the mother of Geum-ju and Hyun-ju, Kim Sang-ho plays Geum-ju, and Hyun-ju's father Han Jung-soo in the play. Kim Seong-ryeong said, `I haven't played much as a daughter's mother, but this time I will play the mother of two daughters.' `But I played the mother of two daughters who are stronger than my son, so I talked about the story in a fun way.' Cho Yoon-hee played Han Hyun-joo, the biological sister of the week and mother of twin children. He said "Maybe those who are raising children will sympathize. A drink is comforting when you finish a hard day after work. It's not alcohol, it's like life water. Hyun-joo divorced alone and raised twins, and sometimes it's dark, but bright and cute family members heal the pain."
Finally, director Jang talked about the message he wanted to convey through his work. He said "Our drama has a story of alcohol, but it has a story of dependenceIt also tells the story of people who are overly obsessed with certain parts or buried in wounds heal and recover through their families or lovers, just as they seek alcohol when they are happy or want comfort," he said.
