KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 『Having the First Night of Namjoo" (written by Jeon Sun-young, directed by Lee Woong-hee and Kang Soo-yeon) is a romance fantasy drama in which a minor role in a romance novel with the soul of an ordinary female college student spends a night with the novel's strongest obsessed male.
In the play, Seo-hyun plays the second best role of Geumsujeo, a minor character with both status and financial power in a romance novel set in the Joseon Dynasty. The second best, who lived without a presence as a minor role in the novel, is reborn as a completely different character one day with the soul of K, a real female college student who was a passionate reader of the novel.
K, who was content to watch the stories of the main characters at the closest with the next best body, is caught up in an unexpected incident and gradually becomes the central character in the novel. K, who entered the body of the next best option, is paying attention to whether he can return the novel that deviated from the path to its original state, and the unpredictable behavior of the next best option with a modern sense.
The released photos sequentially show the changes from real female college student K to the next best character in the novel. First of all, K's expressionless face reading a web novel with glasses and a hoodie reflects the boredom of daily life. On the other hand, K's soul is filled with an interesting smile on her face, and her performance is expected to become the main character rather than a minor role.
In particular, attention is drawn to Seo-hyun's acting transformation, which will delicately portray the changes in characters from K, the next best in the novel, and the next best after K is possessed. In response, Seo-hyun explained why he chose the work, saying, `I was attracted to the comical and tense story between characters, lovely and sometimes bizarre characters.'
As for the next best character "In modern times, people hurt themselves, but after the novel, embarrassment also briefly accepts the moment as an opportunity of a lifetime. He introduced, "He is a person who has gone through a lot of things and is growing up." This is because the next best thing to dream of a new life is to meet the soul of K and live a daily life that is completely opposite to before.
Therefore, Seo-hyun said that she prepared the character by dividing the three characters into K, a real female college student, Bing's second best in the previous novel, and the second best in the main character after Bing's death. `"Modern K is pessimistic, but human, and Bing's former next best is a character with emptiness in a monotonous life, and Bing's second best is a novel, so I wanted to portray him as a character who freely unfolds actions that he has never done in reality." I am curious about the story of K and the next best, which will be completed with Seo-hyun's detailed efforts, by pointing out the acting points.
