Director Yoon Jong-bin challenged the mystery thriller genre for the first time with the Disney+ original series 『Nine Puzzle』, telling the behind-the-scenes story of casting using all of his 20-year-old movie connections.

On the morning of the 14th, a production presentation for Disney+"Nine Puzzle" was held at JW Marriott Dongdaemun in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Director Yoon Jong-bin and actors Kim Da-mi, Son Seok-gu, Kim Sung-kyun and Hyun Bong-sik attended the meeting to talk about the work.

'Nine Puzzle' is a mystery thriller in which the only witness and incumbent profiler 'Ina'(Kim Da-mi) of a pending case 10 years ago and a powerful team detective 'Hansam'(Son Seok-gu) who suspects him to the end find out the secret of a series of murders that started again with a mysterious puzzle piece. Fresh chemistry, which Kim Da-mi and Son Seok-gu will perform as profilers Yoon Na-na and detective Kim Han-sam, respectively, and director Yoon Jong-bin's delicate production have met, and expectations are high, foreshadowing the birth of a new style of well-made mystery thriller.




In addition to the main actors, director Yoon's 20-year-old movie connections, including Hwang Jung-min, Lee Sung-min, Park Sung-woong, Lee Hee-jun, and Ji Jin-hee, will appear in Nine Puzzle, to support them with special appearances.

Director Yoon Jong-bin said, "When I first encountered the script of the 11th episode, there were so many characters and there were characters in each episode, so I needed an actor with a presence"In order to create an unforgettable person, I mobilized all my acquaintances' personal connections, had a meal with my acquaintances, and asked about my intention to appear on the show. " He then said "At the request of actor Son Seok-gu, actor Ji Jin-hee was also with us."

Meanwhile, 'Nine Puzzle' will be available in a total of 11 episodes, including 6 episodes on the 21st, 3 episodes on the 28th, and 2 episodes on June 4.
