Actor Lee Bong-ryeon drew laughter by revealing an unexpected co-star episode with her husband Lee Kyu-hoe

On the morning of the 20th, at a certain place in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Lee Bong-ryeon met with Sports Chosun and responded to an interview to commemorate the end of 'Unseuljeon'.

Lee Bong-ryeon acted as a role model and demonic grandmother who wanted to resemble the residents most in the tvN Saturday-Sunday drama 「Life of a Korean Major」 (creator Shin Won-ho, Lee Woo-jung/director Lee Min-soo/playwright Kim Song-hee/planned CJ ENM Studios/production Eggs is Coming) (hereinafter referred to as 「Unseuljeon」) as Seo Jeong-min, an obstetrics and gynecology professor at Jongno Yulje Hospital.

In an interview, Lee Bong-ryeon said, "I really didn't know about the fact that she appeared in the same episode on Netflix with her husband, actor Lee Kyu-hoe. It wasn't until I watched the drama that I found out that I was in the same episode. He expressed his honest reaction, saying, `Come on, come on, but I really don't like it in that scene.'

Then, in order to maximize the sense of immersion in the drama, we promise to inform each other as late as possible that they are a couple. That's because I think it's more fun and natural from the perspective of the viewers as well."

Like Oi-young and Koo Do-won in the movie Unseuljeon, the couple also developed love in the theater company. Lee Bong-ryeon said of her love story with her husband "Actually, it wasn't my first favorite. My husband liked me first, and people around me pushed me a lot, saying they looked good together"We respect each other and walk the same path. As the same actors, understanding and supporting each other is the greatest strength."

Lee Bong-ryeon and Lee Kyu-hoe are 11 years apart from their husbands in SBS entertainment show `Dongsang Imong 2 - You Are My Destiny' which appeared in 2023. "I got married in 2019" and "I had a concert in Japan, and my husband said he would buy me hangover soup the day before I left the country. Suddenly, he gave me salted octopus and sent me a handwritten letter to the hotel. I wrote down a poem," he said, revealing his love story.

Meanwhile, 'Unseuljeon' ended on the 18th. The final episode's viewership averaged 8.6% and up to 10% based on households in the metropolitan area, 8.1% and up to 9.2% based on national households (based on paid platforms integrated with cable, IPTV, and satellite/provided by Nielsen Korea), breaking its own record.
