Lee Joon-young dominated the top of OTT rankings with the simultaneously released 'Weak Hero Class 2' and '24 o'clock Health Club'. The Netflix series "Weak Hero Class 2", which was released on the 25th of last month, depicts a desperate survival period and brilliant growth story of Yeon Si-eun (Park Ji-hoon), a model student who confronted violence for her friend but transferred to Eunjango with trauma that she could not keep, as she could never lose her friend again.
Lee Joon-young plays Geum Sung-je, a free spirit who does not want to belong anywhere or to anyone in Class 2 of Weak Hero, but wanders only in search of fun. He was completely absorbed into the slick but cool 'My Face' Venus festival, signaling another successful acting transformation.
'Weak Hero Class 2' continues to be very popular, topping the Netflix Global TOP Series (non-English) category three days after its release, and also maintaining the top spot of the 'Top 10 Series of Korea'. In addition, he was listed on the top 10 list of 63 countries around the world, including Brazil, Mexico, Belgium, France, Morocco, Greece, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and New Caledonia.
KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 「24:00 Health Club」, which first aired on the 30th of last month, is a heart-throbbing (筋) growth comedy (comical romance) that unfolds with Helchi-kwang full of grit, Do Hyun-joong, and Helin, who has excessive anxiety, dramatically corrects the lives of members. Lee Joon-young plays Do Hyun-joong, the director who took over an old fitness club overnight in a global bodybuilder.
Lee Joon-young, who showed the history of non-stop acting through various works, proved a spectrum without limits by perfectly digesting even a slick comic performance with '24:00 Health Club'. As of the 3rd, '24 o'clock Health Club' ranked No. 1 on Disney+'s 'Korea TOP 10' and No. 2 on 'WAVVE's 'Drama TOP 20', reaffirming Lee Joon-young's explosive popularity.
From the Netflix series 'MeloMovie' that was released in February, March 'I was completely deceived' and April 'Weak Hero Class 2' and '24:00 Health Club', Lee Joon-young, who continues to make a global hit by announcing a new record of 'Life Character', is drawing keen attention to his future moves.
Meanwhile, Lee Joon-young is meeting with viewers with KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 「24:00 Health Club」, which airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:50 p.m.
