Actors Kang Ha-neul, Yeom Hye-ran, and Seo Hyun-woo will present an acting show through the Netflix movie ‘Wall To Wall’.
A production briefing session for the Netflix movie ‘Wall To Wall’ was held at Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 14th. Kang Ha-neul, Yeom Hye-ran, Seo Hyun-woo and Kim Tae-joon attended the scene.
'84 square meters', which will be released on the 18th, is an unpredictable thriller that occurs when Young Kla-jok Woo-sung, who succeeded in buying his house with an 84-square-meter apartment, suffers from unknown inter-floor noise, and director Kim Tae-joon of the movie 'I just dropped my smartphone' took the megaphone.
Director Kim returned with a real-life horror thriller following his initial work 'I just dropped my smartphone'. He said "A lot of people are suffering from noise between floors. 80% of Korea's houses are apartment houses, and apartments account for more than 80% of them, so they are in an environment that is bound to experience noise between floors"I thought the material of inter-floor noise was highly sympathetic and timely. I thought it would be an interesting story to deal with various materials about noise between floors"and expressed his intention to direct.

The actors met as neighbors hit by noise between floors. Kang Ha-neul, who played Woo Sung, an office worker in his 30s, succeeded in buying his own house, which is his lifelong wish, but depicted a struggling character in reality who cannot afford high-interest loan interest. As for how he came to join the work, he wrote "Usually, the scenario is often written to make sense of the people who read it. However, the script written by the director felt like a conti-book written to direct. As soon as I saw the script, I could see what the director's style would be like. I read the script from my seat to the end."
As for the character Woosung "It's sad even before introducing it. He is a young man who lived very hard and bought an apartment with a mortgage, severance pay, one-room deposit, my mother's land, and even her soul. But after moving into the apartment, I'm stressed by the mysterious noise between floors, and I'm getting weaker."

Yeom Hye-ran plays Eun-hwa, the representative of the residents who want to protect the apartment. He said "The director showed a realistic thriller in his previous work, and it seems to be more chewy than any other thriller genre. When I saw the director's work, I sympathized with 'It's our story, it's my story'. I also wanted to try because it was different from the characters I've played so far after reading the script for the first time."
Earlier, Yeom Hye-ran played the role of Gwang-rye, Ae-soon's mother, in the original Netflix series 'I was completely deceived', making viewers emotional. Therefore, he is a power-type rich character that is not common in "'84 square meters". I'm a former prosecutor, so I know how to avoid the law. I tried to give him a feeling that if he makes good use of the silver money, he could benefit from it," he said.

Seo Hyun-woo, who played Jin-ho, a man living upstairs in Woosung, said "When the director gave me a precious scenario, I was actually experiencing noise between floors, so I sympathized a lot. Some people suffer from noise between floors, but it's a very difficult situation to make (noise) inevitably, he said. "I read it interestingly from the beginning because it was a scenario that touched my heart in many ways."
He then mentioned his efforts not only to act but also to visually work on his work. Seo Hyun-woo said, `Even if the coach is not a fashionable muscle, he should be a real-life fighter. I learned judo, judo, boxing, and so on. I did it completely differently from the way I've been exercising so far to give physically pressure,' he said.

Finally, director Kim also revealed behind-the-scenes stories about casting actors. First of all, he wanted to give the impression of a self-portrait of young people in this era about Kang Ha-neul. I wanted to project the hardships of young people living in the present age into a character called Woosung"As the situation Woo-sung faced in the movie was so harsh, I was worried that it would only be darkened." But if Kang Ha-neul's bright and positive image was applied, I thought I would become a character that I could cheer for without just being dark." About Yeom Hye-ran and Seo Hyun-woo "Yum Hye-ran is an actor who can convey hot emotions beyond warmth. On the contrary, silver is a cold, cold-headed, and sometimes inhumane character, and I wondered what it would be like for Yeom Hye-ran to play this role. Seo Hyun-woo reached the highest point in changing his face. The character Jinho is suspicious, and there is also a reliable and cute side like a neighborhood brother. "Seo Hyun-woo seemed to be able to express Jinho in three dimensions"It raised the curiosity of prospective viewers.
