Actor Park Ji-hwan will make another overwhelming appearance in JTBC's new weekend drama 『100 Memories』.
Park Ji-hwan will join JTBC's new weekend drama 『100 Memories』, which will premiere on September 13, as the head of Cheong-a Transportation's labor department. Set in the 1980s, Park Ji-hwan is expected to be responsible for tension as the only villain of the work in a youth melodrama with a newtro depicting the brilliant friendship between Gu In-yang and Jong-hee, and the fateful love between the two.
In the play, the head of the labor department is a person who constantly confronts the top power of Cheong-a Transportation and the guide. It reigns as a 'A1 of Gap' that values only profits and managers' positions with principleism and one-sided character, and is nicknamed 'Gwangui' among the guide sheep.
In the still released on the 25th, Park Ji-hwan drew attention by recreating the typical manager of that time with his shaggy long hair, rustic check cardigan, wide tie, and filial son. Even the way he roars and gives a strong look makes me laugh, reminding me of his signature movie 'The Crime City'.
The production team said, `Park Ji-hwan has created a three-dimensional character who enhances the tension and fun of the play, not just a villain,' adding, `It will captivate viewers with his magical performance, which is like a 10 million scene stealer.'
"100 Memories" is a collaboration between writer Yang Hee-seung and director Kim Sang-ho, which will premiere at 10:40 p.m. on Sept. 13 following "Squire: Lawyers Dreaming of Being a Lawyer."
