In the eighth episode of JTBC's Saturday-Sunday Drama 'Squire: Lawyers Dreaming of Being a Lawyer', which aired on the 24th, Kang Hyo-min (Jeong Chae-yeon) took charge of the assault case of her friend's older sister and star anchor Han Seol-yeon (Hong Soo-hyun), and after intense consideration, she chose the 'Justice to Protect My People'. The broadcast broke its own record again, recording a 9.3% audience rating in the Seoul metropolitan area and 8.7% nationwide. At that moment, the highest ratings soared to 10.4 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area and also topped the entire program in 2049 ratings, proving its popularity (based on Nielsen Korea).
In the play, Kang Hyo-min took on the case of Han Seol-yeon, who was arrested on charges of assaulting her husband, and insisted on being innocent of loss of trust. The case seemed to be flowing in favor as the situation of the blackout due to drug side effects was revealed, but the situation turned around when Han Seol-yeon confessed to the shock that she had actually taken the drug intentionally to punish her husband. Kang Hyo-min, who was confused, eventually found a breakthrough in a legitimate way of avoiding illegality, reflecting on his belief that `justice is about protecting those who must be protected.' He gave the sisters catharsis by fighting within the boundaries of the law until the end, saying, `I can't tell you a lie, but I have the right to refuse statements.'
Meanwhile, Yoon Seok-hoon (Lee Jin-wook) succeeded in counterattack by reversely utilizing the confidential leakage of Ko Tae-seop (Park Jung-pyo). In the process of helping victims of bullying in the workplace, he revealed the bare face of Ko Tae-seop's forces and broke down his forces by putting the condition of pushing his right-hand man Choi Hee-chul (Kwon Seung-woo) to another position. Yoon Seok-hoon's performance, who completed 'Implementation of Justice' with a cool-headed strategy leading the game, left a thrilling aftertaste.
