Lee Ki-kwang recently appeared as Han Ho-joong in the hard-boiled action drama series I Kill You, which was released through Wave, showing his presence to control the atmosphere of the play.
In I Kill You, Lee Ki-kwang realistically expresses the character of Ho-jung, who is the half-brother of Han Ji-yeon (Kang Ji-young), the granddaughter of a large construction company, and seeks an opportunity to become a successor to the family with a sense of inferiority. Lee Ki-kwang's brutal acting transformation as a villain created a sense of immersion to change the atmosphere of the play.
In particular, Lee Ki-kwang realistically expressed the relentless misdeeds of Ho-jung, who did not use any means to become a successor. Amid public uproar after it was revealed that Ji-yeon was the main culprit behind the drunk hit-and-run death, Ho-jung sent a video of the report to the prosecution and the media to send Ji-yeon to prison.
Lee Ki-kwang's crazy eyes and eerie face, which dominated the play, caused tension that I couldn't take my eyes off. Ho-jung, who was out of the sight of his grandfather and chairman, was desperate to kidnap Ji-yeon. In order to take over the company, Ji-yeon's life was not considered, and the reckless and cold side of the crowd led to unpredictable development.
Lee Ki-kwang's bold action that did not hide his body was also outstanding. Ho-jung, who mistook Sun-woo (Kang Ji-young) with the same face for Ji-yeon, threatened Sun-woo to sign a shareholder's power of attorney, cooling viewers to reveal the cruel nature hidden behind his calm smile. Then, faced with another group, Ho-jung gave a thrilling dopamine with a speedy action of throwing himself away without fear.
Lee Ki-kwang is also a member of the highlight, a solo artist, and an actor. As Lee Ki-kwang has expanded his spectrum by digesting characters he has never shown before through this I Kill You, expectations are high for Lee Ki-kwang's future acting activities.
Lee Ki-kwang's highlight was his 6th mini-album 'From Real to Surreal'Chains' title song 'Chains' and is currently continuing his 2025 solo concert 'RIDE OR DIE' Asia tour with great success. It is also communicating with fans with its own contents 'Highlight's Shoot-Off Season 2'.
