KBS2's new Saturday-Sunday miniseries 'Eunsu Good Day' (scripted by Jeon Young-shin, director Song Hyun-wook) is a dangerous partnership journal between Kang Eun-soo, a parent who wants to protect her family, and Lee Kyung, a two-faced teacher, with a drug bag obtained by accident.
In the play, Lee Young-ae plays Kang Eun-soo, an ordinary housewife who had a harmonious family, and Kim Young-kwang plays Lee Kyung-eun, an after-school art instructor to Eun-soo's daughter Su-ah, and a two-faced man who distributes drugs under the pseudonym James at the club. The two form an unexpected partnership in the wake of a bag found by chance, and face an intense turning point in which ordinary daily life is reversed.
The released still shows the change in the relationship between Eun-soo and Lee Kyung at a glance, drawing attention. First of all, Eun-soo is sitting with a firm look as if she was shocked by the unexpected news, while parents and instructors are seen seriously meeting in the art room. Lee Kyung talks about Eun-soo's daughter Park Soo-ah (played by Kim Si-ah) with a calm attitude. There is a strange tension between the two, which contrasts with the warm sunlight outside the window.
However, in the following still, the relationship between the two is completely reversed, stimulating curiosity. Lee Kyung, who exudes a sharp and cold aura while wearing leather jackets and horn-rimmed glasses, and Eun-soo, who has an emaciated face and anxiety, face each other in an unfamiliar space. The narrative of the two, who transformed from a parent-teacher relationship into a dangerous partner, is intact, inducing interest.
Eun-soo offers Lee Kyung-eun a partnership to protect her family, but her eyes are filled with fear and hesitation when looking at the paper Lee Kyung gave her. Indeed, it raises the question of whether she will be able to hold hands with Lee Kyung and meet the 'Eunsu Good Day' and whether Lee Kyung, who has been revealed to her parents, will be able to keep her double life until the end.
The production team expressed the process of Lee Young-ae and Kim Young-kwang, who started out as characters in completely different worlds, and gradually permeated each other's lives with a close acting breath"It will be interesting just to follow how the relationship between Kang Eun-soo and Lee Kyung-eun, who have completely different conclusions, is met and sutured due to the conflict and dilemma they experience in their partnership."
'Eunsu Good Day' is a well-made work in which director Song Hyun-wook, who is recognized as a master of detail in various genres, and writer Jeon Young-shin, who boasts delicate writing skills with dense reality, are in harmony. On top of that, it has completed solid lineups such as Lee Young-ae, Kim Young-kwang, and Park Yong-woo, as well as Bae Soo-bin, Cho Yeon-hee and Hwang Jae-yeol, emerging as the most anticipated works in the second half of the year.
