tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama "The Tyrant's Chef" (directed by Jang Tae-yu) is a survival fantasy romantic comedy drama that takes place when a chef who timeslips to the past at the best moment meets the king, the worst tyrant and the owner of absolute taste.

Yeon Ji-young (Im Yoon-ah) in the play made a crash landing in the past due to some kind of opportunity while she was about to become the head chef of a Thristar restaurant after winning a French cooking competition. Yeon Ji-young, who faced tyrant Lee Hun (Lee Chae-min) while not being able to adapt to unfamiliar times, struggles to survive by capturing the taste of a gourmet tyrant with her main specialty of cooking.




However, Lee Heon, who holds Yeon Ji-young's lifeline, is an absolute taste holder who catches all the subtle differences in taste and has a sensitive temperament that does not easily trust people, which gives a hunch that it is never an easy journey. Yeon Ji-young, the chef of the noble (鬼女) who fell from the sky, is wondering whether she can satisfy the taste of the feisty king Lee Heon and survive.
