Lee Jung-jae’s Artist Company Teams with Studio&New on Multi-Drama Slate

Studio & New, a subsidiary of the content production business of the content media group NEW, announced on the 18th that it has signed a joint production contract with its agency, Artist Company, founded by Lee Jung-jae, for cooperation in various fields such as drama production, distribution, promotion, and additional businesses.
This joint production contract aims to strengthen competitiveness in the drama production market by combining the contents planning and production capabilities of both companies, and to expand content supply and business areas. It plans to accelerate co-production, starting with the sequel to the popular IP and three lineup featuring synergy from creators and actors that have been well received by global viewers.

Two works by the artists, which proved their solid fandom and popularity, are also being produced with the aim of being released in the second half of 2026. Following the introduction of Studio & New and the first and second seasons of 『Aide - People Who Move the World" and Lee Dae-il, who recently showed solid storytelling with 『Good Boy』, will be written by Heo Ji-soo, who is drawing attention for his new senses and warm eyes. Season 2 of 'Good Partner', which has been praised for its vivid coverage and writing skills of writer Choi Yu-na, a current divorce lawyer, will draw sympathy from viewers with an expanded worldview and in-depth narrative. Starting with a joint production project, the two companies plan to expand their business to additional businesses in all directions and strive to build a sustainable business model.

Meanwhile, Studio & New has collaborated with major domestic and foreign platforms and production companies such as Disney+, JTBC, and SBS to present a number of hit works such as 'Moving', 'Doctor Cha Jung-sook', and 'Good Partner'. In particular, it is expanding its presence in the global market through a long-term content partnership with Disney+, and this partnership with the artist company is expected to further strengthen its content production capabilities.
