SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'The Devil: The Murderer's Outing' (directed by Byun Young-joo, scripted by Lee Young-jong, planned studio S, production by Merry Christmas, Megamonster, and film production company Bo-im) is a high-density crime thriller surrounding the copycat crime that occurred more than 20 years after the brutal serial killer 'The Devil' was caught. It tells the story of a detective's unexpected cooperation with his mother, who he has hated all his life, to solve the case. Ko Hyun-jung, who plays the main character Jung Yi-shin, her powerful presence is predicted by a drastic transformation.
Earlier, the production team drew attention by releasing a scene of Ko Hyun-jung's imprisonment, who is serving a sentence on death row. Ko Hyun-jung's unfamiliar face, which has never been seen before, overwhelmed her eyes, including her pale face, her detached expression as if she had been cut off from the world, and her cool energy.
Then, in a still cut released on August 11, Ko Hyun-jung, who was dressed in ordinary clothes rather than prison clothes, was seen sitting in a mysterious space. The strange mystery, tension, and expression of mesmerization while looking out the window make the viewer even more curious.

SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama `The Devil: The Killer's Going Out,' which depicts the shocking outing of Koh Hyun-jung, a serial killer, will premiere at 9:50 p.m. on Sept. 5.
