Season 2 of 'Country Village Lee Jang-woo' goes to Ganghwado Island...The second half of the year will be broadcasted

MBC announced on the 11th that it has confirmed the airing of Season 2 of 'Country Village Lee Jang-woo' in the second half of the year. The program features actor Lee Jang-woo melting himself into a rural village, interacting with local seniors, filling the village with laughter and stories, and running on his feet for local regeneration.
In season 1, Lee Jang-woo reborn the abandoned farm as a 'hot place' with Gimje, Jeollabuk-do, and permeated the village by farming rice and sharing food with residents. It recorded the highest ratings of 7.9% (furniture) and 3.0% (2049), becoming the strongest at the same time, and showed its potential to organize a Lunar New Year special. Since the broadcast, the number of visitors to Gimje has increased, and the brewery has still been crowded, contributing to the revitalization of the commercial district. Gimje City received the Prime Minister's Award for this contribution 'Best Practices Competition in Response to Population Reduction'.
The stage of season 2 is Ganghwado Island, which boasts a natural scenery and abundant seasonal ingredients. Lee Jang-woo said, "'Tastes well' against the backdrop of rice paddies, mudflats, and the sea in Ganghwa Island.Using the 'Al' aspect, he will present special dishes with handmade artisans.
Prior to the main broadcast, a pop-up event will also be held to announce the start of season 2 on the 30th. It is expected to signal a local regeneration project as a place where you can taste 'Treasure Table' made of Ganghwa's seasonal ingredients and enjoy the scenery.
Season 2 of 'Country Village Lee Jang-woo' will premiere in the second half of this year, and pop-up events can be applied through the official website from the 11th to the 17th.
