Song Joong-ki and Chun Woo-hee Reunite as First Loves in JTBC’s New Drama ‘My Youth’

JTBC's new Friday series 'My Youth' (scripted by Park Si-hyun, director Lee Sang-yeop and Ko Hye-jin) released teaser posters and opening videos ahead of its first broadcast on September 5. Videos and sentimental phrases that delicately capture the texture of emotions stimulated viewers' emotions.
'My Youth' depicts a reunion romance between Sun Woo-hae (Song Joong-ki), a child star-turned-writer who consumed his prime too early, and Sung Je-yeon (Cheon Woo-hee), a bulldozer team leader and his first love. The relationship between Sun Woo-hae, who started his normal life, and Sung Je-yeon, who caused an unexpected emotional disturbance, is intertwined again, bringing out the feelings that he had forgotten.
The two in the teaser poster catch the eye with images that are produced like old photos. The phrase 'I will recognize you again and again until when' makes their reunion even more affectionate.
The opening teaser video incorporates the freshness of the nineteen-year-old. The appearance of Sun Woo-hae (Unusual) and Sung Je-yeon (Jeon So-young), a boy and girl who got on the bus on a rainy day, reminds us of their pure first love. The scenery outside the window of the two grown-ups has changed, but Sun Woo-hae's narration "What would you say to me now" implies an emotion that still remains.
Lee Joo-myung plays Mo Tae-rin, a four-dimensional actor who is honest with his emotions, and Seo Ji-hoon plays his first love and tax accountant Kim Seok-joo. The two also herald another love line on the complex emotional line.
Meanwhile, 'My Youth' will premiere on JTBC at 8:50 p.m. on September 5. It will be released in Korea on Coupang Play and overseas on Viu and Rakuten Vicky.
