JTBC's new Friday series 'My Youth', which will premiere on September 5, raised expectations by releasing group posters that increase the excitement index.
The work is an emotional romance about the reunion of Sun Woo-hae (Song Joong-ki), who started her normal life later than others, and Sung Je-yeon (Cheon Woo-hee), who has to break the peace of her first love. Director Lee Sang-yup, who directed `Yumi's Cells' and 'Knowing Wife', and writer Park Si-hyun, who wrote 'RunOn', will join forces to tap viewers' hearts.
The protagonists in the poster bring back memories of their brilliant nineteen. Sun Woo-hae, who spent his youth for a living as a child star, turned into a novelist and florist and is smiling peacefully surrounded by flowers. However, his first love Sung Je-yeon, who came back to his life, evokes another excitement. For Je-yeon, who lived by the rules, the Sunwoo Sea was the only liberation zone. It raises questions about how the emotions of the two people who met again as adults will affect them.
Mo Tae-rin (Lee Joo-myung), who made her name as a national brother and sister, has a free atmosphere and has grown over the wounds of her childhood as a child star. Kim Seok-ju (Seo Ji-hoon) was the first love that comforted his childhood. Seok-ju, who appeared with a straight smile without being disturbed, heralds a new change in Tarin's daily life. The four youths will provide warm and beautiful emotions through a reunion where they remember each other's first love.
The production team said, "The reunion of your youth, who remember each other's nineteen years, will be pleasant, affectionate, warm, and spicy. It will be a drama that seems to bring out the record of first love again."
'My Youth' will premiere on JTBC at 8:50 p.m. on Friday, September 5 and will air twice a week. It meets global viewers in Korea through Coupang Play and overseas through Viu and Rakuten Viki.
