On the 2nd and 12th, the collaboration exhibition of Hebi and renowned illustrator John Kafka in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, 'Taking Off'ECDYSIS: Rebirth of Ouroboros' ended successfully with about 6,000 visitors.
'Taking Off'ECDYSIS: Rebirth of Ouroboros' consists of seven main works, limited collaboration drinks and goods, and special works by John Kafka. At the same time, Hebi participated as an audio docent, adding to the specialness.
The exhibition hall was crowded with visitors, and numerous memos containing messages of support to Hebi filled the walls. In particular, all seven of the main works on display were sold in 10 minutes upon opening, realizing Hebi's high popularity.
Hebi, a comet-like virtual artist who topped YouTube's popularity video with his debut song, is like a gemstone with an explosive artistry and infinite potential hidden inside, perfectly digesting a variety of genres from powerful songs to sweet ballads and growing into an exclusive hexagonal vocalist.
John Kafka is an illustrator and designer who has attracted more than 400,000 followers, impressing fans around the world beyond Korea and Japan with his original visuals and extensive collaboration. John Kafka is active in various fields, including animation music videos, games, books, and art classes, and shows his strong presence in Ado's 'LE SSERAFIM-blue flame', 'Stella Jang-villern' music video illustrations, Eve's 'insomnia' Tribute illustrations, and Guiano's '風' music video illustrations.
Hebi, the first mini-album released on the 22nd of last month, surpassed 30,000 copies (the first week of album sales after its release) even though it was its debut album, and the title song 'From Now' music video is loved by YouTube daily music video charts and soaring popularity videos right after its release.
