According to Billifrap on the 14th, ILLIT has been named in the first lineup of the 'Rock in Japan Festival 2025' to be held at Soga Sports Park in Chiba City, Japan, on September 13-15 and 20-21.
The Rock In Japan Festival is one of Japan's four major rock festivals, which marks its 26th anniversary this year, and boasts a large scale, with a total of 275,000 people watching last year's performance alone.
CNBLUE and ENHYPEN have appeared as Korean artists so far at the Rock In Japan Festival, which consists of a lineup centered on top local artists. ILLIT was the first K-pop girl group to be invited to the festival even though it did not release an official album there, proving its fast-rising popularity there. ILLIT will be on stage on September 14, the second day of the festival, heating up the Japanese archipelago.

The first Japanese original song 'Almond Chocolate' released by ILLIT in February also received a good response. The song, produced as the theme song of a local movie, went viral two months after its release, causing an unusual reverse sensation. 'Almond Chocolate' was ranked 10th on Japan's Oricon Chart's 'Weekly Streaming Rankings' (March 31 to April 6), the best K-pop girl group song released this year.
ILLIT will hold its first fan concert '2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN JAPAN' at Pia Arena MM and Osaka Castle Hall in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, respectively, from August 10-11 and September 3-4. Prior to this, they will hold the '2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN SEOUL' at Olympic Park Olympic Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul for two days from the 7th to the 8th of next month and meet with domestic fans.
