ITZY will make a comeback on the 9th of next month...Park Jinyoung's trailer film makes a surprise appearance

ITZY (ITZY) confirmed the release of a new album in June and announced the comeback countdown.

JYP Entertainment (hereinafter JYP) started its comeback promotion on the 12th by posting the trailer video and scheduler of ITZY's new album 'Girls Will Be Girls' on its official SNS channel.

The trailer video, which is like a movie, draws attention as the famous advertising director Yoo Kwang-ung organizes the members' journey to make Ryujin's heart beat, in a dramatisation format.

In particular, JYP CEO Park Jin-young (J.Y. Park) appeared as a surprise and played the role of licorice in the early part of the video. Starting with Park Jin-young, who appeared with a cassette radio in front of Ryujin, who turned into a short bob, the trailer showed the colorful visuals, acting skills, and beautiful dance lines of Yeji, Lia, Chaeryeong, and Yuna, raising expectations for their first comeback in 2025.

The promotional scheduler, which was released together, drew attention as it heralded abundant content. It will showcase tracklist on May 26, concept photos from May 27 to 30, album spoilers from June 2, music video teasers and photos from May 4 and 6. At 5 p.m. on the 9th, the day of the release, a countdown live will be held to commemorate the comeback with fans.

ITZY will release a new album about eight months after the mini-album 'GOLD' (Gold) in October 2024. Attention is focused on the new songs and stages that will be presented by those who have established themselves as the representative performance queen of K-pop by captivating fans with their solid skills and various charms.

ITZY's new album 'Girls Will Be Girls' will be officially released on June 9 at 6 p.m.
