Global girl group VCHA member KG has ended its exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment.

JYP Entertainment announced on the 8th that `JYP America and KG mutually agreed to end their existing contracts as members' and"to support each other's future.'

In December last year, KG filed a lawsuit to terminate the contract on SNS, saying, `I decided to leave the team because of the unfair treatment of certain employees and an environment that is not suitable for mental health.' At the time, he pointed out the promotion of eating disorders, restrictions on excessive work and privacy, and problems with the settlement structure, saying, "I don't want to work on music in this environment. I hope the K-pop system will change with this decision."

In response, JYP America responded that "false and exaggerated contents were unilaterally disclosed to the outside world" and that "we will respond according to future procedures." made a statement.

Shin-Bi made her official debut in January 2024 through a global project 'A2K' by JYP and Republic Records under Universal Music Group in the United States. The team, which was originally a six-member team, left KG following Kayleigh's withdrawal due to health problems. Recently, the team name was changed to GIRLSET and reorganized into Lexy, Camilla, Kendall, and Savannah quartet to continue their activities.
