Bae Doo-na met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 30th and said, `The biggest attraction of this work was that I could work with Kim Yoon-seok.'
The movie 'Virus', which will be released on May 7, tells the story of Taek-sun, who is infected with a 100% mortality rate virus that falls in love for no reason, with Mossol researcher essay, longtime alumni Yeon-woo, and Lee Kyun, the only expert who can make a cure, and director Kang Yi-kwan took the megaphone. Bae Doo-na played Ok Taek-sun, an English translator infected with the virus.
Bae Doo-na performed romance with Kim Yoon-seok, who is 12 years older in the play. As for how he chose the work, he said, "The biggest attraction of this work was that I could play with Kim Yoon-seok. I wondered how I could never meet him like this after acting for 20 years. But I thought this work was that opportunity. Isn't falling in love a person a symptom of being infected with a virus. In that sense, I sympathized a lot. Love is like a fever, isn't it. Our movie was like a fairy tale of cute, bright, kind, and hopeful modern people," he said.
Then, when asked how he felt about working with Kim Yun-seok for the first time, Bae Doo-na said, "Every time I made each scene, I felt like a pillar. I was able to trust and play in the field, and there is no way to express it except to say I respect youEven before filming "'Virus', I opened the Kim Yoon-seok Film Festival by myself and watched all the works my senior starred in. In particular, I liked 'Turtle Run' the most among the movies my senior starred in. I was able to choose this work after seeing my senior's high comedy genre acting. Rather than being a light comedy, it was my taste because it was a black comedy with a smirking smile."
