‘The First Night With the Duke’ Posters Highlight Seohyun and Ok Taekyeon’s Tension

‘The First Night With the Duke’ unveiled two main posters featuring a fateful meeting between Seo-hyun, a real female college student, and Ok Taek-yeon, a male character in the novel.

KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘The First Night With the Duke’  (written by Jeon Sun-young, directed by Lee Woong-hee and Kang Soo-yeon) is a romance fantasy that unfolds when a minor role of a folding screen with the soul of an ordinary female college student spends a night with the novel's strongest obsessed male.

The main poster, which was first released, reveals a strange tension between Cha Eun-chaek (Seohyun) and this time (Ok Taek-yeon) in a calm atmosphere. The next best thing is to lean slightly toward this time and silently stand by the next best thing with an expressionless face this time. Facial expressions that seem to hide each other's feelings arouse expectations about what kind of relationship will unfold in the future.

In another poster, the next best option and this time's emotions are more clearly detected. The next best thing is to look up this time with excitement while holding the shoulder strap, and this time, it does not avoid that gaze, raising the heartbeat. On the other hand, the purple background and the objects of flowers, butterflies, and the moon attract attention, reminiscent of the worldview in romance novels. The contrast between the second best dressed in bright hanbok and dark robes and black gats also adds to the curiosity about the relationship between the two.

In this way, the main poster ‘The First Night With the Duke’ foretells an unfamiliar atmosphere between a female college student possessed by a minor role in the novel and the male protagonist. As MZ female college student intervenes in the romance of young men and women in the novel, curiosity grows as to what will happen, and where this mind, which suddenly deviated from the next best and path at the center of the story, will be directed.
