Director Kang Hyung-chul told why he cast Park Jin-young in the movie 'High Five'.

Director Kang Hyung-chul met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 29th and said, `I prayed hard to find a handsome actor.'

Released on the 30th, 'High Five' is a movie about what happens when five people who accidentally acquire superpowers meet with those who want their superpowers, and director Kang Hyung-chul took the megaphone.

In 'High Five', actors Shin-gu and Park Jin-young drew attention by playing Young-chun as a two-person role. Regarding the reason for casting Park Jin-young as a young Young Chun, director Kang said, "In the movie, Ahn Jae-hong says the line, 'Why am I an old man, why is he an oppa?' and Lee Jae-in responds, 'You're handsome.' I really wanted to write that line. I found a handsome actor appearing in the sun while praying hard about who to use. I didn't know Jin-young well at the time, but it felt good as soon as I saw it, and I didn't want to miss this friend. I shouldn't have just imitated Shin-gu's unique and distinctive tone. But he embodied himself in his own way and took his soul. It might seem like an impersonation, but I did it after trying my best," he said.

In particular, director Kang cast EXO Do Kyung-soo in the movie 'Swing Kids' and GOT7 Park Jin-young in 'High Five'. Regarding the reason for recruiting actors from boy groups in succession in the two works, he said, `When it comes to talent, origin doesn't seem to be very important.' Then "There is a scene where Kyung-soo is mentioned in the movie, and for that god, I asked Kyung-soo for permission in advance."He also showed off his still friendship.

He also expressed his feelings about receiving good responses from the audience through the pre-release premiere. Director Kang said "Thank you so much. I always believe that movies are a recording medium. I think it's going to exist forever as long as the recording hardware doesn't go away"It's a movie in the 1950s and 1960s, but there are still cases where you watch it dozens of times. I don't know how many people will love our movie in the future, but it won't disappear soon. I'm glad to hear the thought of 'that's a relief.'"
