In JTBC's new entertainment show 'Gaeho Kang', which airs every Sunday at 10:30 a.m., Kang So-ra will be with 'Gaeho Kang kindergarten' as a teacher. Kang So-ra, who went to work at the 'Kindergarten for Nursing Home', predicted that she would share a special communication with the dogs, saying, `The process of slowly opening their hearts because it was difficult to adapt to unfamiliar environments is memorable.' The following is the question and answer I shared with Kang So-ra.
▶ Why did you decide to appear on the show?
The project 'Puppy Kindergarten' seemed so interesting. I was also looking forward to it because it was an entertainment show with dogs, so I thought I could fill my self-interest to my heart's content. I've seen my dad train from the side before, and I've slightly copied him, but I was worried that it might be a nuisance because I wasn't trained professionally."
▶ What is a dog like?
"Is there any animal that gives unconditional love to pets as much as dogs? Even if I can't take you for a walk often, if you don't decorate it pretty, or even if you haven't done anything right, I wonder if I can be loved so much by a dog who looks at me as if I'm the only one in the world."
▶ As the number of households living alone increases, pets left alone after work are said to be the biggest concern for pets, but what is the biggest concern about dogs?
"Luckily, I lived with my parents, so there was no concern about the puppy left alone. However, when a single-person household raises a dog, I think not only the help of the surroundings but also various other conditions must be considered. As many of you already know, I hope you know in advance that being with your dog is such a happy journey that you have a lot to deal with."
▶ What did you realize or gain from 'When you leave the house?'
Compared to the other performers, everyone was so sincere that it was too much to be called a companion 'puppy kindergarten teacher'. It was good to learn various information about dogs from the trainer through 'When I leave the house, I will be able to take care of my dog.'"
▶ What did you especially prepare before you started shooting? What was your mindset before shooting and what was the most different after you started shooting?
"Even though I was trained at the 'Puppy Kindergarten' in advance, the actual situation was different. It was embarrassing because the output did not come out properly as I learned, but I gradually adapted to unpredictable situations and learned a lot new in the field. Life is real."
▶ What do you remember while interacting with your dogs?
"I remember the process of slowly opening up to teachers by dog friends who were unable to open their minds because they could not adapt to unfamiliar environments." The expressions, gestures, and sounds of the children who wanted to come to school from worried expressions to confidence were not good enough, and then loudly 'Wang!' I was more grateful because I thought that the kindergarten and teachers became much more comfortable with these changes that barked and expressed their opinions."
▶ Is there an episode that comes to mind during the shoot?
"I remember a lot of things that I used to set the water temperature and scoop water while making a swimming pool for playing in the water on a rainy day, and the things that my retriever friend had so much fun that he wouldn't come out of the water." In particular, it was so touching to see one puppy friend opening his heart little by little, and the cute but brave moments of his little friends were so memorable as well."
▶ What should we not miss?
"I will repay the trust of my guardian with certain output. Trust me and leave it to you. Aim for firm goals and pursue happy growth.
