Choi Min-sik X Choi Hyun-wook, Secret Literature Class...Netflix Unveils 'The Boy in the End'

Actor Choi Min-sik will transform into a professor of Korean language and literature through the new Netflix series 'The Boy in the End Row'.

Netflix announced on the 29th that Choi Min-sik played the leading role of 'The Boy in the End Row'. Based on a Spanish play of the same name, the work depicts a professor who abandoned his dream of becoming a writer and regained his passion for literature when he meets a talented student.

Choi Min-sik plays Heo Moon-oh, a Korean language professor who lives in a eccentric attitude while hiding his failed wounds as a writer in the play. With a sharp and curt personality, he pays attention to a student who quietly reveals his presence at the end of the university classroom.

The student Lee Kang is played by Choi Hyun-wook. Although he is an undergraduate in engineering, he boasts unique writing skills among literature students, and he is recognized for his talent by Heo Moon-oh and takes writing classes in secret.

Heo Jun-ho stars as Kim Soo-hoon, a successful writer and Heo Moon-oh's college classmate, and Kim Yun-jin stars as his wife, Ahn Eun-joo. Jin-kyung appears as Heo Moon-oh's wife and psychological counselor Cho Hyun-sook, adding to the weight of the play.

Director Kim Kyu-tae, who directed the dramas 'Our Blues' and 'It's Okay, It's Love', has a megaphone, raising expectations.
