On the afternoon of the 19th, a production presentation for tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama "Chef of the Tyrants" (directed by Jang Tae-yu) was held at the St. in Sindorim D-Cube City, Guro-gu, Seoul. The production presentation was attended by Im Yoon-ah as head chef Yeon Ji-young of the three-star Michelin restaurant in Paris, Lee Chae-min as Yeonhui-gun Lee Heon, Choi Gui-hwa as Lee Heon's uncle Jesan Dae-gun, Seo Yi-sook as Lee Heon's grandmother Inju Dae-bi, Oh Eui-sik as Lee Heon's sister Princess Hwi Sook's booma Do Seung-ji Im Song-jae, and producer Jang Tae-yu.

Previously, "The Tyrant's Chef" cast Park Sung-hoon as Lee Hun, the male protagonist, last year, but Park Sung-hoon made a mistake in posting an AV (adult video) image related to "Squid Game" on his SNS account ahead of filming, causing a lot of public anger and eventually dropping out of the work. Lee Chae-min, who is 10 years younger than Lim Yoon-ah, filled Park Sung-hoon's vacancy, drawing a lot of attention.




Producer Jang Tae-yu said, "(Park Sung-hoon's controversy) was right before filming the drama. It happened during the preparation period. There were many casting candidates. Drama has many casting candidates, and I think it's a past process. I am 100% and 120% satisfied with Lee Chae-min, who I met late. All actors do their best with passion when they are rookies, but the results do not come out all the way. However, Lee Chae-min actually achieved results. So I'm satisfied"

Based on Park Kook-jae's popular web novel 『Surviving as Chef of Yeonsan-gun』, 『Chef of a Tyrant』 is a survival fantasy romantic comedy drama about a chef who timeslips to the past at the best moment when he meets the king, the worst tyrant and the owner of absolute taste. Im Yoon-ah, Lee Chae-min, Kang Han-na, Choi Gui-hwa, Seo Yi-sook, Oh Sik and others appeared, and producer Jang Tae-yu of 'Wind Garden'Deep Root Tree'Flowers Blooming at Night' directed.
