Immigration Pilot Turns out LGBTQ People Are Difficult to Immigrate...Getting kicked out of the coming out church (Ask Avalokiteshvara)

An LGBTQ man who immigrated to the U.S. due to Korea's difficulties appeared.

The 327th episode of KBS Joy 'Ask Me Anything' aired on the 4th featured a storyteller working as an airline pilot in the United States.

The storyteller said he left Korea in high school and immigrated to Canada, and is now a dual citizen living in the United States. Then "When I was in Korea, I left Korea because of a heartache, and even though I am living comfortably in the United States now, I cannot overcome the sadness and hatred in Korea. I came to ask you what to do because I felt like I had lived the wrong life", he explained the story.

When Lee Soo-geun asked if his difficulties in Korea during his high school years influenced his immigration decision, he said, "I was teased a lot by my children for being feminine, bullied, beaten, and lived like that without friends" he introduced.

He confessed that he was gay, and faced a situation where his first friend, who he made in his second year of high school, was teased by other children by asking if he was the sender's lover when he hung out with him. He said he left Korea because he asked him to send it abroad.

The writer wrote "At first, I went to Canada and hated 'Korea' itself, so I threw away all my old memories. Graduation album, song tape, CD. Never met a Korean."

Seo Jang-hoon responded, "'I was in pain when I was in Korea, so I understand that this could have happened because I didn't speak Korean and I didn't meet Koreans in order to erase my memory and everything about Korea.", he said, showing an understanding of the storyteller who is not good at Korean.

To Lee Soo-geun, who asks what life in Canada was like, the writer "It wasn't easy. I came out of the church and was kicked out," he replied, "I can live the way I want to live, and nothing fits me."," he added.

When asked by Seo Jang-hoon, "'Did you tell your parents as well?', the sender "It hasn't been long since." I said I'd live for myself, but I couldn't even tell my family." I told my brother first." He then married in the U.S. and was married to her husband for 10 years before divorcing him two years ago" he said.

The writer explained that he had many thoughts about not being able to share a deep story about life with his parents since he was in his late 30s. He said he decided to come out even if he lost his parents, and it was a mess. Screaming, crying..." Last year, they went to the Queer Parade in Seoul, met other gay parents, and what they said to me was, "'I didn't know you had such a hard life in this world as a gay man.'" "That's when I started talking to my mom and dad more," he said. "I feel a lot better."

In response, Seo Jang-hoon consoled , saying "It is the hardest wall for parents to cross"You have crossed the biggest wall."

On the other hand, the storyteller revealed the experience that reminded him of Korea, although he had forgotten about Korea. He said he happened to watch a K-pop video while looking for ways to dye his hair on YouTube. At first, I didn't see it because I felt rejected, but when a Korean song that I used to listen to when I was young came out, I heard it without realizing it, and I introduced that I cried, and from then on, I kept thinking of Korea.

Seo Jang-hoon, who heard the story, said "It's heartbreaking in many ways. " How hard have you been since you were young. This is not a matter that you can change and do as you please, he said. "Wouldn't it be easier to deal with Korea if you were more comfortable?" he advised. Lee Soo-geun added "Only when you are happy will your parents be happy."

Finally, the writer asked that he wanted to clarify that he was not the person involved in the romance scam, saying "My photo is being used for romance scams now," and Seo Jang-hoon responded to his request by sending a message to viewers "Don't be deceived."
