The original TVing series Dear X (played by Choi Jae-won, directed by Lee Eung-bok and Park So-hyun), which will be released in November, depicts the story of Baek A-jin (Kim Yoo-jung), a woman who wears a mask to get out of hell and go up to the highest point, and Xs who are brutally trampled on her. The period of destruction of actor Baek A-jin, who went from the bottom to the top of his life, and the desperate love of Yoon Joon-seo (Kim Young-dae), who chose hell to protect him, gives the essence of the never-before-seen doom melodrama suspense.
Above all, expectations are high for the first meeting between legendary hitmaker Lee Eung-bok and TVing, who gave birth to 'Sweet Home'Mr. Sunshine'Guardian'Descendants of the Sun'. Director Park So-hyun, a master of sensory directing, added strength, and writer Choi Jae-won, who won the best prize in the KBS one-act play script contest in 2018, was in charge of writing. As it is based on a popular webtoon with the same name, which has a strong fandom around the world, it has created a buzz even before its release. The meeting of Kim Yoo-jung, Kim Young-dae, Kim Do-hoon and Lee Yeol-eum, who will maximize the genre pleasure of the trusted production team, excites drama fans.
The script reading site, which was released along with the news of the confirmation of its release in November, heats up expectations even more. Director Lee Eung-bok, director Park So-hyun and writer Choi Jae-won, as well as Kim Yoo-jung, Kim Young-dae, and Kim Do-hoon gathered at the script reading site to perform enthusiastically.
First, Kim Yoo-jung transformed into a mask 'Baek Ah-jin' to survive. Baek A-jin is a top actor who steps on the wounds of his childhood and reaches the highest point, and he achieves what he wants with insight that penetrates the other person's heart. Kim Yoo-jung overwhelmed the script reading scene by portraying Baek Ah-jin's brutal true colors behind her beautiful face with absorbing acting.
Kim Young-dae performed 'Yoon Jun-seo', believing that he can save Baek Ah-jin with his love. Yoon Joon-seo, who has been by Baek's side all his life, is his only resting place and fatal Achilles tendon. He walks through any mud for Baek Ah-jin, but he destroys everything he has been protecting for love. Kim Young-dae released Yoon Joon-seo's terrible love in a dense manner, raising expectations for a new life character.
Kim Do-hoon played the role of 'Kim Jae-oh', whose purpose of life changed with Baek A-jin's one word. Kim Jae-oh, who has survived through his father's abuse since childhood, is a person who found the reason for life in Baek A-jin, who has the same pain, and is willing to become a shadow of Baek A-jin. Kim Do-hoon's performance, which doubled the charm of Kim Jae-oh, a precarious man who stands by Baek A-jin in another way with Yoon Joon-seo, also added to the expectation.
