CJ ENM and Studio Dragon unveiled their lineup this year as well as the 'Opening' series, which is underway to discover new creators. Five one-act plays will be released sequentially, starting with 9:20 p.m. on August 17th 'The Cat's Meat War' and 'The Scarlet of the Painter', 'My Daughter Friend's Mom', 'The Lake of the Day' and 'Housekeeper'.
The first batter is Yoon Doo-joon and Kim Seul-ki's reunion in 10 years. It depicts a comical war between a couple who are about to divorce over cat custody. The Scarlet of the Painter stars Oh Na-ra, Seo Young-hee, Kim Si-eun, and Lee Jae-kyun, and tells the story of her adopted daughter returning as a blonde Scarlet.
'My daughter's friend's mother' is a relationship reversal drama starring Jeon Sung-woo and Park Jin-ju. It is a relationship reversal drama that takes place when Dolsing's working daddy and former subordinates meet again in front of kindergarten. 'Lake of the Day' unfolds with the teacher's gaze digging into the incident of the student's death during class. 'Housekeeper' is a psychological drama about a friend who is shaken by the appearance of a housekeeper.
'Opening' has been recognized for its cinematic quality and freshness by winning awards at leading domestic and international film festivals. The production team said "New writers, directors, and actors are pouring out their passion and talents. Please cheer for us this year," he said.
