Is it Ko Hyun-jung's mystery thriller or Lim Si-wan's action thriller…SBS and Netflix's simultaneous release of 'The Devil' 9

Two works with the same title but completely different ones visit the home theater.

SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama `The Devil: The Killer's Going Out' and Netflix's original movie `The Devil' are both being released side by side in September, attracting viewers' attention.

The first thing to open is the drama 'Warts: Murderers' Outing', which premieres on Sept. 5.

The work tells the story of a crime in which the criminal of the serial murder that occurred 20 years ago is imitated, and a detective begins a joint investigation with the 'killer and mother' he has hated all his life. Ko Hyun-jung plays the female serial killer Jung Yi-shin and Jang Dong-yoon plays her son Cha Soo-yeol, raising tension.

Director Byun Young-joo said, `Our drama is not just a thriller, but a story of people trying to prevent more victims.' `We will be able to enjoy the actors' dedicated acting.'

The Netflix movie 'Warts', which will be released on the 26th, has a completely different result. It is a work that expands the world view of 'Gil Bok-soon', and depicts a bloody power struggle that takes place when A-class killer 'warts' returns in a situation where the rules of the murder contract industry are broken. Lim Si-wan played the killer Hanul and performed spectacular actions, while Park Kyu-young appeared as his friend and rival Jay and Cho Woo-jin as retired legend killer Dokgo to complete the battle between generations.

What's interesting is that despite the same title, the way dramas and movies deal with 'warts' is very different. At a production presentation held on the 4th, director Byun Young-joo explained the difference, saying, `If a movie is about a killer who kills people for money, a drama is a character who moves in his own way without receiving anything.'

Attention is focusing on whether the two works with the same name but completely different colors will succeed side by side.
