Netflix held a production presentation for the new original series 'Eunjung and Sangyeon' (played by Song Hye-jin and directed by Cho Young-min) at a hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 5th. Director Cho Young-min, Kim Go-eun and Park Ji-hyun attended the event.
Eunjung and Sangyeon is a work that tells the story of two friends who like and admire each other the most at every moment, and who are jealous, hateful, and intertwined throughout their lives. Do you like Brahms?', Director Cho Young-min, who directed Understanding Love, directs and captures the narratives of two friends who constantly pass each other's lives from their teens to their 40s. Kim Go-eun and Park Ji-hyun are expected to express delicate changes in emotions by decomposing them into Eunjung and Sangyeon, respectively, and complete complex emotions that anyone would have felt at least once, such as admiration and jealousy, centering on friendship.
Director Cho Young-min, who directed the movie, said, `It is the story of two friends who spent nearly 30 years together from their teens to their 40s. I think I can tell you that it is a work that I once admired, hated, but followed the times when I forgave and reconciled."
The actors also felt the charm of the script and decided to appear. Kim Go-eun "When I was first offered this work, I could only see the fourth part. The first and second parts are teenagers?? It's a story about the 3rd and 4th parts and the 20s are coming out. It's a very calm story about why part 5 isn't there. I can't wait to see part 5' is a work that came to mind. Kim Go-eun and Park Ji-hyun act from Eunjung and Sangyeon in their 20s to those in their 30s and 40s.
