'Marriage Wedding reception' will be officially invited to the 30th Busan International Film Festival World Cinema section, which will be held from the 17th to the 26th, and will meet the audience for the first time in Korea.
Making its world premiere at the 41st Sundance Film Festival, 'Marriage Reception' was recognized for its cinematic quality by winning the Amazon MGM Producer Award (fiction). In particular, Yoon Yeo-jeong, who returned to the role of K-Grandma Ja-young, drew rave reviews from leading foreign media.
Variety is Yoon Yeo-jeong's performance that gives a deep sound. The New York Times has received heated reviews such as "Existence in Control of the Screen" and "Yoon Yeo-jeong's acting that makes K-Grandma shine" and attention is focused on Yoon Yeo-jeong's spectacular return beyond 'Minari'.

Immediately after the screening on the 18th and 20th, there will be a GV attended by directors Yoon Yeo-jung, Han Ki-chan and Andrew Ahn, continuing in-depth conversations by vividly telling various stories related to the film. Then, at 4 p.m. on the 19th, an outdoor stage greeting event will be held for about 20 minutes at the BIFF outdoor stage in the Seoul Cinema Center to meet with the audience who visited Busan more closely. In particular, the meeting between director Andrew Ahn, who has delicate directing skills across various genres, and Yoon Yeo-jung, who shows an overwhelming presence through deep experience, is expected to be a special moment to shine at the festival in itself.
'Marriage Wedding reception' is a work about an unpredictable comedy that occurs when a K-grandmother appears in a fake wedding plan of two same-sex couples. Yoon Yeo-jung, Han Ki-chan, Bowen Yang, Lily Gladstone, Kelly Marie Tran and Joan Chen appeared, and Korean-American director Andrew Ahn took the megaphone. It will be released in Korea on the 24th.
