On the 10th, the 60th Civil Affairs Department of the Seoul Central District Court made a decision to recommend reconciliation to JTBC's request for an injunction against copyright infringement and unfair competition against Studio C1, the producer of 「Fireball」.
From January 1, 2026, the court reportedly deleted 'fireball' related videos posted on the studio C1 website and YouTube channel, and set the condition not to upload or release new videos. In addition, it was also prohibited to produce or distribute videos using the name 'fireball' or 'firefighters' as the title or team name. In case of violating this, Studio C1 must pay JTBC an indirect compulsory fee for copyright infringement of 100 million won per day of violation.
JTBC told Sports Chosun that the copyright infringement of 'strongest baseball' of'fire baseball' is clear' However, Studio C1 reportedly filed an objection on the 27th against the court's decision to recommend reconciliation.
Meanwhile, JTBC and Studio C1 PD Jang Si-won were in conflict with JTBC due to issues such as settlement of production costs ahead of the production of Season 4 of 'strongest baseball'. Afterwards, producer Jang Si-won launched and introduced 'fireball' through the YouTube channel, which led to conflicts over 'strongest baseball'IP (Intellectual Property Rights).
