Ryu Seung-ryong’s ‘The Dream Life of Mr. Kim’ Premieres to Praise for Realistic Office Drama

Actor Ryu Seung-ryong captured the home turf with his "real office worker manager".

The story of manager Kim (directed by Cho Hyun-tak, scripted by Kim Hong-ki and Yoon Hye-sung), who works at a large company in Seoul, which first aired on the 25th, is a drama about a middle-aged man who lost everything he believed was worthwhile and goes to find himself.

Ryu Seung-ryong appeared as Kim Nak-soo, head of the ACT sales team at a large company in the play. From the first episode, he expressed the unfamiliar face of real office workers in a pleasant and vivid way, raising the level of immersion. In particular, in the scene where Baek Jung-tae (Yoo Seung-mok) was caught sneaking into the room and then being scolded, he returned the same words to his subordinate Kwon Song-hee (Ha Seo-yoon), the aspect of 'Unhateful Kkondae Boss' was completely saved.

The falling water's 'Kkondae power' was not the end here. The appearance of checking a subordinate in a foreign car, weighing the price range between the boss and the employee, and choosing a bag drew bitter sympathy and laughter at the same time. However, at the end of the broadcast, the atmosphere quickly turned around when his colleague Heo Tae-hwan (Lee Seo-hwan), who was demoted to Ulleungdo after being pushed out of the promotion competition, tried to make an extreme choice. Kim Nak-soo's expression, which intersects shock and vanity, left a deep lingering impression on viewers.

From the first episode, Ryu Seung-ryong depicted the character 'Kim Nak-su' in three dimensions, empathizing with the practical concerns of middle-aged office workers. The cross-border narrative of promotion competition, family conflict, and survival is raising expectations for his struggle in the future.

Meanwhile, the second episode of the story of Kim, who works at a large company in Seoul, will air at 10:30 p.m. today (26th).
